I guess the universe is telling me not to dye my hair, because right as I was thinking about going to buy some dye….
My cell phone rings. It’s an unknown number, which I usually don’t pick up, but for some reason this time I did. And guess what??
Someone stole my checking account number and along with that took eighty dollars from my account! Yaaay!
Man. I just wish I could’ve talked this person and said “Hey, um, I’m, like, kindof broke right now, could you not?”
Seriously. Ah, well. I guess there’s a reason for everything right?
….Hope you guys had an evening that was slightly more fun than mine.

Does anyone know of cute clothing websites that are beneficial to the environment/ give back to the community in some way/ give money to non-profit agencies?
I’m trying to only buy things that will benefit the community/world. It’s time I stop being selfish about the things I buy. If I’m going to buy something, it’s going to benefit something else. This may seem strange, but it’s an idea I’ve come up with in a sort of rebellion to these huge chain stores that don’t really seem to do anything with their popularity. They don’t donate to non-profits, the don’t help local artists or communities, they don’t give to anyone in need (I mean really how “in need” are you if you are able to buy that cute 80$ sweater you saw online?). So here’s me sticking it to industry, materialism, and capitalism. No matter how tempted I am, I am not going to buy clothes/objects from places unless it is a local business, helps the environment, donates to a non-profit, or benefits the community in some way. I know, especially among us girls, that it’s really hard to just not buy things from everywhere. But if you found out somehow that your favorite chain clothing store was testing harmful clothing dyes on animals or supporting sweatshops would you want to give money towards that?
Just a message, think twice about the places you are buying from. Buy into places that help, not hurt.
